What happens when you try to download them? Do you get an error? If so what does it say?

Please attempt to answer the questions.

What solitaire games? At least name a couple of them so we can try to find them.

Where do you access them exactly? Are they actual stand alone apps along your other apps, or do you access them inside the Facebook app for example?

If they are stand alone, what happens when you try to get them from the App store exactly?

We cannot help you, if we don't know where your games are supposed to be or how you access them. You need to explain exactly what you do to get to them.

Contact Apple Support, and make an appointment at the local Apple Store.

and make an appointment to bring this iPad in to Apple, and have Apple assist you.

While you are discussing this with Apple Support, you can ask about available online classes to learn more about your iPad, or about other local resources that might help you better understand and use it for card games or other apps.

What solitaire games? Are they compatible with the iOS version on the new iPad?

Are they there, but dimmed?

Are they not there at all?

Please explain in detail what is happening?

Check that the iPad is correctly connected to Wi-Fi, and has a functional Internet connection.

If Facebook is not opening, it may because there is no internet connection.
