I unchecked 'column layout', and I suppose what I'm seeing now is what you refer to as "normal." I don't like the arrangement, but I can see flags. Do I have to choose? or can I have columns AND flags?
If using Column Layout, show the flags column. If in the normal layout, it should show in the message list.
Under VIEW, mail is in column layout. I do not see show flags as an option to choose for columns. "show flags" is not an option.
Ctrl-click on the header row and choose the columns to show/hide. Most (maybe all) lists work that way.
Ctrl-click!! never thought of it. Now I know. thank you very much.
