Audiobooks will not play

Audiobooks will not play. I recently upgraded to an iPhone 13. When I reloaded my LibriVox and loyal books apps no files will download nor will any files play. I have uninstalled the apps then reinstalled the apps with no change. I get no error messages only frozen apps that will not play the audio files. I have contacted the developers and they follow their instructions concerning deleting and reinstalling apps and files. Please advise.
