Hello jalene50,

MMS stand for Multimedia Messaging Service and it enabled by your wireless carrier. This is a feature that is only available on the iPhone. If you have an iPhone and the iPad you can use a feature called Text Message Forwarding to be able to send text messages and MMS messages from your iPad. You can see how to set up the option here:
