4. Select the device that you want to remove from iCloud.

I have same situation with Bigpimp56.

I bought an iphone from my friend and he don't remember about his icloud on this iphone so it long time.

Morever, his iphone error and I also recover iOS and not have information about icloud.

His email address is masked (b*****@icloud.com).

Your friend sold you a useless device. If your friend can’t remember their Apple ID (it’s their EMAIL ADDRESS, which should be really hard to forget) return it and get your money back. As this is your friend that shouldn’t be a problem.

The only way to remove an activation lock is to use the Apple ID and password used to set it up. If it is not your information, then you will need to contact the prior owner for help.

Because it's still good and can use for small purpose.

No there is no way to find his email address. But it should be a hint to him if you tell him what is displayed.
