Downloaded Mojave twice and both times got a notice saying it was damaged and unable to install. I previously moved to trash the download before retrying

Each time I try to upgrade from High Sierra to Mojave, I download and it says it is damaged. Help please

Delete any previously downloaded macOS installers and then empty the trash.

Reboot the Mac and attempt another download.
