I cannot connect my printer to iMac , but I can print from my iphone

Each device has a different operating system and each device must have its own print driver. If you recently updated or upgraded your iMacs OS, you may now have to download and install a new print driver that is compatible with the Macs OS. It will be found at the print manufacturer's web site in the support/download section.
