Can I find my my lost iphone when its dead?

My phone is currently lost but it is offline since it is dead. Is there a way I can still locate this device or erase it while its still dead or offline?

You may locate the iPhone by spotting it using your eyes.

You may erase it - which would occur if and when it awakens.
