Unpair Apple Watch when it stops working

My Apple Watch Sport has stopped working & won’t connect to my phone . I have had it’s battery replaced last year .

How can I unpair it when the phone cannot connect to it ?

From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.

Go to Find iPhone.

Click All Devices at the top of the screen.

Click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.

Click Remove from Account.
