Can’t reset my watch by holding the Digital Crown

Can’t reset my watch holding down the Digital Crown. It was hung w/this msg

I turned the watch off/on

t turned my phone off/on

placed the watch on its charger

held down the power button then held down the Digital Crown button

no change. I tried holding it for several minutes, no change.

From a web browser,sign in to iCloud.com with your Apple ID.

Go to Find iPhone.

Click All Devices at the top of the screen.

Click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase [device]. Select Next until the device is erased.

Click Remove from Account.

Yes, that’s what I’m trying to do. I can’t reset when holding down the Digital Crown, while on the charger.
