this song is not available from your country or region

after a long time I recently downloaded an mp3 file on to my itunes on laptop . It worked. ..when syncing my iphone to itunes ..It did not work ? this song not available ..bla bla It acted as though it had never seen my iphone before. Only one I have used . Have updated software too . What to do here ?

Remove the problem track from your iPhone, then try adding it back again.

Try Edit > Preferences > Devices > Reset Sync History (if available) and then try syncing once more.

If that hasn't helped try signing out of the iTunes Store on the device and then try again.

Otherwise see this post on erratic syncing.
