I got sold a phone that I think was stolen. Now I need their Apple ID to log into the phone. Is there anyway that I could get around that and/or send it back to you guys so that you can let this person know that this phone has been found

If you can't reach the previous owner whose ID is on the device and have them remove the device from their account, the device is worthless. Apple won't unlock it for you.
