No, an Apple ID is an email address. If you don’t have one you can use you can create an iCloud address to use as your Apple ID. But note that if you do this you can never change it to a non-iCloud email, so it is generally better to use a non-Apple email address as your Apple ID. If you don’t have one you can create one with a free account, such as gmail, yahoo, AOL, Outlook, etc. Avoid using an email address from your cable or Internet provider, as it makes life more complicated if you want to change providers. Not impossible, but more complicated.
