How to send a photo as a JPEG from my iPhone 8?

I have a iphone 8 I want to send a photo as a JPEG. How do I do that? There isn't a format option in camera settings.

If you have set the camera settings to "most compatible" under Settings->Camera->Formats it should be taking pictures in JPEG format already.

If you have it set to High Efficiency it will take them as HEIC but should convert them to JPEG automatically when you email them.

I guess this is an iphone 6

Your footer here shows an iPhone 6s running iOS 15.

An iPhone 6 cannot get to iOS 15. Only iPhone 6s and later.

If you’re not sure what iPhone and which iOS you have, see Settings > General > About.

Oldest iPhone camera and processor with HEIF support is iPhone 7.

If you’re on an iPhone older than iPhone 7, it’s all JPEG captures, all the time.

On iPhone 7 and later, Settings > Camera > Formats set to High Efficiency uses HEIC, while set most compatible uses JPEG.
