How to check iPad order status?

I've ordered a iPad Air 5 and Apple Pencil, both with engravings, on 16th May and I received my pencil within a week. My iPad, however, is still in the state of processing and it’s been 3 weeks since I ordered. Should I contact Apple to check on the status?

You can contact them, but I suggest that you just check this link every day:--> Viewing & Changing Orders - Shopping Help - Apple.

In all likelihood, the demand for the model you have chosen is higher than the availability. Be patient.

Non personalised items are usually fulfilled from in-country stock. Personalised items are not fulfilled from regional distribution centres, but are instead despatched from manufacture - in most cases from China.


The global semiconductor shortage, coupled with international shipping delays, are significantly impacting supply chains - and for this reason some items are experiencing delays in order fulfilment.


When placing your order, you should have seen an estimated shipping date; Apple’s estimated dates are generally very accurate. Your order confirmation will have included contact information for any enquiries concerning your order; if you have any concerns at all, you should contact Apple.
