Printer Issue with MacBookPro (Intel processor)

Samsung M2835DW laser printer occasionally prints gibberish when printing from my MacBook Pro (started when changed to BigSur, and now Monterey), but not with MacBookAir M1. Printing without drivers - using AirPrint. Any ideas?
