My iPhone was briefly submerged in water. The Face ID feature does not work but all other features seem to operate normally. The phone is updated.

Water and electronics do not mix well. Troubles may develop later. I suggest that you make an appointment at the nearest Apple Store for an evaluation and explanation of your options.
