iMessage will only say “delivered” on iPhone if sent through MacBook!

This started randomly, but I cannot send messages!! I have tried sending messages on my iPhone but they will not say “delivered” although the bubble are blue! iPhone will only display “delivered” if message was sent on MacBook. Please help! I do not have my MacBook with me at all times so this is very inconvenient! I have tried logging out of both iMessage and iCloud on both devices so many times!

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.2
