access to disabled device

my phone is disabled due to too many failed attempts putting the wrong passcode. It says to connect to itunes. I now remember the code but it doesn’t give me the option to enter it. Is there a way to get access without resetting everything? I’m not sure if i had everything backed up and don’t want to lose all my photos and other important stuff on it.

Sorry, no. Once it is disabled, there is no choice. Your only way to reset it now is to restore it, which will erase it. Use your backup to restore what data you do have backed up after that.
