Maybe stupid question but can I (chrome)cast Apple TV series etc to a regular TV?

Not Chromecast, but AirPlay support is needed instead. Similar, but different. Apple apps do not support Chromecast.
You can stream Apple TV+ content locally from your iPhone to a TV, if the TV is AirPlay-enabled.
