I accidentally downgraded my OS to mountain lion

I accidentally downgraded my OS to mountain lion in an attempt to dual boot my laptop. I know I need at least 10.9 to upgrade to Catalina. Is there anyway to upgrade to Mojave from mountain lion and then Catalina or am I stuck with this OS?

current OS X : 10.8.5

Processor: 1.8 GHz Intel core i5

Macbook Air Mid 2012

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15
