I am trying to reinstall OS x Mavericks on my Mac desktop. I deleted Macintosh HD - Data. Now that I've gone back to reinstall the OS, there is no disk to select to put the OS. "Install" is greyed out.
iMac Line (2012 and Later)
Go back into macosx utilities.
Open disk utility. You will see your harddisk there. Tick it, and then at the top tick erase. Use the format "Mac OS Journaled" Wait until it is done.
If your disk is greyed out in disk utility you may have to tick "mount" first
