Ctrl-Tab not cycling tabs

Just upgraded to a new Mac Studio and OS 12.4, Things were working, but I somehow changed a setting and can't figure out why Ctrl-Tab isn't cycling through tabs (in Finder, Safari, Chrome, etc.). Instead it opens some sort of App Changer that I've never seen before.

Have tried restoring defaults on the keyboard shortcuts window but to no avail. Has anyone found a solution to this?

CTRL + Tab should cycle tabs- it does so for me. are you sure you're not doing CMD + Tab? This does open the app switcher.

Can you use CTRL + Shift + Tab? This should cycle the tabs in reverse.

Also try the alternate shortcuts, CMD + Shift + ] and CMD + Shift + [, as this does the same thing as CTRL + Tab and CTRL + Shift + Tab.
