I forgot my password to get into my mac. I have the touch ID but my computer died and when i charged it i have to enter the password before i am able to use my touch ID. how do i reset my password or figure out what it is?

Can't Log in to your Mac?
Try Resetting your Mac Login Password:
Reset it using the login screen. You'd go through your Apple ID to perform this. Find out more here: If you Forgot your Mac Login Password - Apple Support. Make sure that caps lock is not enabled when typing it. Does that fix this?
