My iPhone does not ring when I get a phone call

My phone does not ring when I get a phone call! I checked the buttons on the left and it shows an orange bell with a line across it. How can I fix it ?

Hi edieb576,

to put your iPhone in Ring mode, move the switch so that orange isn't being displayed.

Then you have the Mute switch turned on. Switch it in the other direction. See this for use of the Mute switch. How to put your iPhone on vibrate, ring, or silent mode - Apple Support
