Apple watch wont reset after holding crown button

I need help, I'm trying to hard reset my Apple Watch and follow the steps, but nothing happens after I hold the side button to the power off screen I hold the crown button, but it just takes me back to the main screen to show that I attempted my password too many times. Please help!
