My iMac 24 did not come with an Ethernet port. Will any USB - C to ethernet adapter work with the iMac 24?

Yes, you purchased a base model 24" iMac, the "higher spec" versions of the same Mac come with a power cord that has an Ethernet port on the power cord.
Thanks. Mine didn’t come with the Ethernet on the power supply which is why I was asking. My thinking is that a Usb-C Ethernet adapter might work. At least hoping.
