How would I go about changing my apple music over to my new Apple ID?

If you changed the Mail address for your Apple ID, as explained in this article, there are a few more things to do:

In case you created a completely new Apple ID, you'll have to subscribe again to Apple Music, and cancel the subscription for the old Apple ID.
