recovering deleted pages file

I accidentally deleted a pages document from my documents folder and the trash can. I then closed the pages application. When I 'control' left click the pages icon I can still see the file name but when I click on the file name it doesn't open. I can't find when I search in finder or via Disk Drill. Please Help!

I hope you have a current Time Machine backup from which to restore that deleted Pages document using /Applications/Time Machine. When you remove a Pages document, it is not removed from the Recent items list, so that is what you are seeing, not the removed file.
