Mack Pro Air on Back Order

Ordered a Mac Pro Air yesterday and I requested to pick it up today from the Apple store in Knoxville. Not available because it’s on Backorder and will not ship until September 6-12. Wanted to make sure I received the tax free purchase. On my confirmation tax is showing on the sheet.
