Photo Library stuck indexing nearly at the end.

Hi all, I've got my photo library in a USB-C external hard drive. Recently I had to repair it and when It ends start a process of indexing all the photographs, detecting duplicates, creating designs and more things. Mac Os says to leave Mac plugged and with the app open until it ends but last many days....

My Mac OS is 12.5 Monterey.

Any help will be appreciated !!!

Hi

What format is the external drive? It needs to be APFS or MacOS extended (and with ignore ownership set) for compatibility with a photos library.
