Is it possible to use the assistant with usb C to speed up the process?

I want to use the migration assistant from a 2016 MacBook to a MacBook Air M2, if possible, through the USB C ports on both computers instead via WIFI

Honestly this was a very good question. I did lots of research and found out that you will want a USB-C Cable that supports data transfer for your mac devices. The macs should detect themselves in the mitigation assistant
