Notifications OUTSIDE the notification center

Hello! I want to see my google calendar notifications pop up outside the notification center. Right now I hear the noise but because I have to click the time to see the notifications, I often miss them.

I've tried updating them in the notifications settings from banners to alerts, but either way they pop up in the notification center which is hidden. Is there a way to make either the notification center permanently visible or configure specific notifications to popup on my desktop without needing to open the notification center?
