I have an att email account associated with my apple ID and iphone for app installations. ATT has stopped working so started a gmail account. How do I get it on my iphone and change my login?

email won't update. its asking for the password for Imap for an email i do not have anymore in the setting of my iPad, i have the correct email address. but when i open email its asking me to sign in to an email account i never use anymore

Do you mean that you want to change your Apple ID from being an AT&T email address to being a Gmail email address?
