Apple Watch Series 2

My watch shuts down while I am out walking and sometimes just around the house. The battery is not run down. I put it on the charger (I take it off after about 5 mins and it is fully charged) and it starts up again and works for just a short time. Incidentally, I lose my tracking information.

Have the battery checked out at an apple store.
