No. Pay no attention to all the scaremongering. They are promulgated by self-serving experts in fomenting fear and discord. It's a full time job for them, and they are very good at it. The real target is Apple, who gets threatened by even the slightest hint of a security hole only they can patch.
Of course it's a good idea to keep your systems updated, but there is quite literally no risk to yourself and your Mac by continuing to use Mojave.
