Please be kind, my go-to-Mac pro not available...... On a 2017 MAC OS High Sierra,version 10.13.6 are there any issues with installing Monterey 12.3.1?
There shouldn't be any issue installing the current 12.5.1 but be aware that if you have any non-Apple 32-bit apps, they will also need to be updated. See: https://www.macworld.com/article/232735/how-to-check-if-mac-software-is-32-or-64-bit.html
Also check that your printer or other peripherals are compatible.
