Finder Search Not Identifying Photos/Images

I have a Macbook Pro, running Monterey 12.5.1 (update installed earlier this week). I am currently encountering a problem that I cannot find a solution to: When I use Finder to search, using known words in the title of image files on my computer in the search, my search either turns up with nothing or turns up with only results that have the same words in the title of non-image type files. I use this function regularly and rely on it, so if anyone can help me resolve this issue, I'd be very grateful!
