Hi I have an iMac that keeps looping back to login screen. How do I resolve this? I've tried a few fixes that I found on google but nothing has worked.

Try to boot the Mac into the safe mode to see if the looping issue persists

Let's start with which exact model is your iMac? What version of OS X or macOS is it running? What "few fixes" have you tried so we don't offer potential solutions that may not have already worked for you?

I turned it off and haven’t used for awhile. And when I used it again, I couldn’t login anymore, because it just keeps going back to login screen. I’ve tried the “home remedies” that I’ve found on google but to no avail. Thank you. btw it’s a model no.: A1224. Thanks.

It’s a model A1224. I forgot what OS though, sorry. I have tried a few fixes I found on google, like trying to go on safe mode but it wouldn’t. The “power off and on”. and a couple others. Thank you.
