downloading word for my Mac

when I try to download it says I need to update to a newer version where am I able to download the newest update for my Mac?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.12

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and if your MacBook Pro is a 2012 or newer model, then on the download link for Catalina in the Related Article above


Catalina and newer won't run 32-bit software; download and use Go64 as well as using the first link above.
