Does anyone know how to network a Mac Mini to a Mac Pro 5.1?

Does anyone know how to network a Mac Mini to a Mac Pro 5.1 either by cable, wifi or both?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

The Mac Mini is running Monterey and the MacPro I believe is running High Sierra 10.13.6 (hope that helps.)

Yes

see > Set up file sharing on Mac - Apple Support

and > Share the screen of another Mac - Apple Support

These work over your local Wi-Fi or Ethernet network.

If the two are close to each other, I recommend using an Ethernet cable between the two because it is faster and more reliably than Wi-FI.

I personally have a small Ethernet network setup to control two older Mac mini Media Servers from my Desktop Mac. Plus this keeps the side traffic and those old Mac mini's off of my local Wi-Fi network.
