How to cancel year long iTranslate app

I signed up for a six-day free trial. Today I received notification that was charged for a one-year subscription for $69.99. I have absolutely no need for this and had intended only to use it for a couple weeks. I tried to change to a month-long subscription but it will not allow. I cancelled but the cancellation will be effective Sept. 5, 2023. HELP!
