Airpods 2nd Generation Short Battery Life

"Airpods 2nd Generation Short Battery Life: Hello, I have been using my airpods for 3 years and I have noticed that the battery lifespan of my airpods has shortened to 1hr & 30mins - 2hrs. Is there any way I can get help? I am only a student and cannot afford to pay for a repair or replacement."

B. Try the Following Tasks:

• Hold Down the Button on the case for about 15 seconds.

• Use an Apple Brand Cable - not a third party one - cool though it may look, a fabric, third-part cable would likely tear - (Apple cable's are plastic and are intended for Apple)

• Remove the AirPod from the Case, then place it back in the charger. Perhaps it needs to resync with the charger
