How Do We Special Order an iPhone 14 with a SIM Tray??

Does anyone know how we can special order iPhone 14 models with one eSIM and one SIM tray?

Apple wants to keep U.S. business customers and knows many need to travel the world to work with local companies. Many mobile carriers overseas are not yet set up for the eSIM so using an nano SIM is necessary because it is completely impractical and unfair to have workers in local companies call or SMS a U.S. number just to communicate with a visitor, who is somewhere in their facility or two hangers away on a flightline.

I understand that Apple wants to force telcos globally to move to the eSIM; however, it needs to permit U.S. business customers who travel internationally to special order iPhone 14 models with one eSIM and one SIM tray so they can use destination SIM cards to communicate with local workers.

Here is the list of the very few mobile carriers by country that support eSIM activation — only 14 carriers across 12 countries (other than carriers in the U.S.).

That means in 180 countries U.S. iPhone 14 users will either need to pay a premium for international calls, texts and data to their U.S. carrier or one of the multi-country eSIM bridge carriers. Very unfortunate when they need to communicate with local workers on-site extensively, Those workers’ mobile plans charge very little for domestic calls and texts, but much more to call or text a U.S. number. I truly hope Apple will soon permit such travelers to make an online special order for iPhone 14 models with a SIM slot.

Asking for it here on a user to user only forum, which Apple doesn't read or participate in will get you nothing.

US Carriers offer roaming packages if you're going to be out of the US. And you'll see quick adoption of esim outside the US as well.

I would not hold much hope for special order options with Sim trays.

If you are in the US and you purchase your phone in the US, there won't be a 14 model available to order with a physical sim tray. No "special order" option to be had.
