While you're using Apple Music see Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music - Apple Support. You set this up in both your computer and your iPhone, and content and playlists sync between the two over the air.

If you decide the subscription method isn't for you see Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod using your computer - Apple Support.
