Time without a date in Numbers
Using Apple's Numbers, I need to enter a time that is independent of a date. How can this be done?

Using Apple's Numbers, I need to enter a time that is independent of a date. How can this be done?

Pre-format the cells as text. You can use them as a times of day in math and functions. If necessary for a calculation, Numbers will attach the the current date to it.

If you format cells as text and then enter dates, note that date math will work as expected. But sorting won't, unless you use a format like 2022-09-22.
