Battery on iOS 16

I have just downloaded the new iOS 16 update on my 5 month old I phone 12 and have noticed the battery has been going down extremely quickly, my phone will be on 100% and then 5 minutes later on 90%

i have only noticed this after I installed the update. Is this something to do with the update or maybe something wrong with the software? Thanks , evie

It may be busy updating Spotlight and other indexes. Or it could be a runaway app. Give it 72 hours and see if it settles.
