macbook air 2018 keyboard backlight not working

My macbook air from 2018 (no touchbar) keyboard light not working have reset SMC and can't drag slider in control center. There is a light in it when I turn off my macbook, but when I type my code and press enter, the light turns off immediately. I also don't have the 'Adjust Keyboard Brightness in Low Light' button inside the keyboard Preferences. What to do?
