I placed an order through apple.com (us) from India (debit card) for approx 1.3 lakhs. Half the amount has been deducted (65,000). The order in website is showing processing and I just got a mail asking me to change the payment method. Now what needs to be done?

If you ordered in the US Online Apple Store they will only accept a US credit card with a matching US billing address. They will also not ship to India and they won't send it to a shipping forwarder. So you will need to replace your payment method to a US Card and change the shipping address.

But what kind of transaction? Debit cards are different than credit cards, did your bank tell you this was a charge to your account or a hold.
Either way click on the Get Support link at the top right of this page to contact Apple.

Has it been actually deducted or a test hold been put on it? Contact your bank and ask which it is and to remove it.
Bank people are confirming that this is a legit transaction and they are asking me to follow up with apple. Apple has not received the amount now.
These bank people are asking me to talk to apple and apple is denying the receipt of the payment.
If Apple is not seeing it then it was a hold charge. Call your bank back and ask to speak with a supervisor.
