Photos taken today (2 Oct 22) showing 25 Sept 21! The SD card is from my Canon (not used since 2012) and I have a Mac Air Mac Os Monterey. The photos went into Imports in Photos and I noticed the date error.

Well now I feel silly! Thank you very much. I hadn't used the camera for a few years actually and obviously picked up last year and the date looks right from the look of the photos. But this time, being idle and not charged must have rendered the date to stop.
I've just started a photography club and was beside myself because the photos submitted had to be taken in the last 2 weeks! I'll have to restart my entries again but at least now I know I'll not be held back by something so silly. Only my lack of talent. tee hee
What is the date/time set to on your camera?
We've all done it - how do you think I knew to suggest it. 😂
BTW - you can change the date to the actual date - no need to go out and retake them.
